My Secret Sister package arrived

Yesterday, as I was pulling away from my driveway to go pickup one of the kids from school, I saw the Postman pull into my driveway.  I quickly backed up and asked if he needed a signature for the package he was dropping off.  He said "no, I'll just leave on your porch." Good thing, cause I was already running late.  Anyhow, as I drove down the street I kept an eye on my rear view mirror to see what he was dropping off.

I figured it was my Secret Sister package, since it was the only thing I was expecting delivery on.

I signed up with Carla's Secret Sister Swap this year.

When I opened it up... I found this note.

It's from Amber at Ups and Downs of Twenty-One.

And here are some goodies I found inside.

A lovely mauve crotchet scarf.  So soft and pretty.  I have a feeling I'm going to have to fight both of my girls for it though.  But I think I'm keeping it for myself and lend it to them for good behaviour. :)

A novel that I have been dying to read.  "Safe Haven" By Nicholas Sparks.  This author also wrote "The Notebook" and "the Lucky One" and I love both of those books and movies too!

I can't wait to start reading it!

Tons of Scrapbooking goodies.  There were embellishments kids pages and puppy too.

And a Scrapbook Binder and more ribbons and papers.

In my Secret Sister Questionnaire I stated that I strongly disliked the colour "peach". Back in the 1980's, I wore one-too-many peach bridesmaids dresses with large bows in the back. lol Of course Amber was quite apologetic about including some paper in this colour.  I had to laugh, because it is such a pretty colour, as long as I don't have to wear it. lol

And here is the entire package of goodies.

Thanks again Amber, I loved everything, even the peach coloured paper. ;)

And, I loved the pictures on your blog of your Siberian Husky puppy.  What a sweety.  I have a special in my heart for Huskies, since we had one for 13 years.  They are wonderful, faithful friends.
