The temperatures have certainly dropped again in my neck of the woods. When that happens, I start thinking about food. The other day, I wanted to put together a quick appetizer for hubby and I, and I remembered my Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus recipe. Fortunately I had all the ingredients on hand. It has been a while since I made it, and hubby was happy about it. So happy, that when I snuck back into the fridge the next day to get myself some more... they were all gone. >:(
They are so simple to make, and yet so darned good.
PROSCIUTTO WRAPPED ASPARAGUS
Here's what you do...
Package of mild cheese ( I used Provolone)
Snap off the hard ends of the asparagus. Place a piece of cheese on top of two pieces of asparagus. Wrap 2 pieces of asparagus with one slice of prosciutto. Bake in oven at 350 for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle Balsamic Vinegar over top. Enjoy!
Here it is again to tempt your taste buds.
Do you have one of those recipes, that you fight with spouse over the leftovers?
