You guys... I've been a painting fool for the past week. Seriously, I've been painting every builder- beige wall I can find in this house. Well, not really but pretty close. I'm on a mission. That's why I've been kind of quite around here. I can't wait to show you everything, and hopefully a new kitchen soon too.
Remember when last July I painted half of the wall down to the basement in Ladybug Red? Then I asked you guys about what to do about the bottom part. Half of you were on paint it white bandwagon and the other half were on the paint it dark. So of course I did what I do, when faced with making
So here is what it looked like before I painted it red. (link here)
And then I painted the top part red...
So the other day, while I was finishing up touching up areas in the kitchen, it hit me... use the same colour on the bottom part of the wall.
That's right... I went to the dark side!
Sorry there are no windows in this area, and the boob light is not much help.
The prints on the walls are of Quebec City. I picked them up about 17 years ago at a garage sale.
hmmm... somebody should clean that ledge too. ;)
Here is another shot showing you all three colours together (I've also painted the other walls, in a perfect greige colour from Benjamin Moore).

What do you think? Would you have been on the white or dark side?
